The Porsche Macan new vehicle will be available for sale next year and therefore it is called a 2014 model. The new model will come with a large attractive front grille, sloped back, longer overhangs while the creases are removed from the hood. The platform of this crossover is borrowed from A5 by Audi and is mixed with extra luxury and sportier look. No doubt, the Porsche Macan will be the most stunning and unique small size SUV.
Performance
The small crossover would have an ability to give you a really fascinating performance because after a long time the 4-cylinder engine will make its entry to the Porsche range of comfortable and stylish vehicles. The engine is Turobocharged and four and slick-shifting 8 automatic combo. Porsche is also trying to offer an optional 3.2 liter V8 engine which will make its performance more advanced and impressive. It is expected that a range of some high quality and performance engines will be available optional.
Styling and major features
The Porsche Macan had been in rumors since 2008 but at that time the manufacturer denied it. Later on it was confirmed and now after a year it would be able to step on the road. The “baby Cayenne” has a coupe look like look, two door body style and a cayenne like nose that is making it more admiring and appealing. Last year, it was said that the “baby Cayenne” will have only two doors but later on Porsche announced that the Macan will have four doors that are necessary for its success. Still, the technical features are not revealed by the manufacturer but it is expected that the small crossover will be laced with all stunning features, safety systems and styles. It is expected that the Macan will carry a lighter weight, a driver oriented dashboard, easy handling and control and an enhanced and improved safety system.
Price and availability
Macan is under work and the release date of this small crossover is not confirmed by the authorities however, it is expected that this luxury and comfortable crossover would be available in showrooms somewhere next year. The pricing of the car is also not confirmed but it is expected that the Porsche will definitely charge a lower price for this small crossover as compared to the Audi’s Q5 and Porsche Cayenne. The base price of the car would be around $42,000 to $45,00.
