The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is set to debut in a few days at the New York Auto Show, but we already got some information about its looks, as the automaker has revealed a video and some images of the vehicle with no camouflage.
Dodge has not disclosed much, however reports suggest the Challenger SRT Demon will carry a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine good for 757 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque. The high octane race fuel can pump around 1,000 hp out of this beast. Compared to the SRT Hellcat, the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be 91 Kg lighter and more aerodynamically efficient.
In terms of design, the Challenger SRT Demon features a muscular body with large wheel arch flares, bonnet scoop to improve the airflow, a lower front spoiler and shard headlights, which add an overall aggressive look the vehicle. Exclusive demon badging can also be spotted on the outside as well as on the inside.
More details will be uncovered when the Challenger SRT Demon makes its formal public debut at the New York Auto show, which will be held from April 14th to April 23rd. However, it will be unleashed today.
