The all-new Nissan Maxima made its first appearance amidst much fanfare at the New York Auto Show 2015, the world’s biggest platform for some of today’s most exquisite and sophisticated looking cars. Many car enthusiasts got the chance to feast their eyes on the new model, which was one of the major attractions at the event.
With a sleek design and unique features, the Nissan Maxima promises maximum performance and better fuel-efficiency; the car boasts a 3.5-liter V6, front wheel-drive with variable transmission, 60% brand new parts, a total power of 224KW and a fuel economy rating of 7.8L/100km.
Talking about interior, it features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 7-inch display in the instrument panel. Other features comprise of intelligent cruise control, blind spot monitoring, automated emergency braking, remote engine start, reversing camera and satellite navigation.
According to Nissan representatives, the new Maxima is meant to promote the brand’s new, bolder image as employed on the new Murano. In the start, the sedan will be distributed solely to the North American markets starting from June of this year followed by re-designed versions of the company’s other models including the Altima family sedan and the Sentra.
