2017 Ram 1500
Fiat Chrysler has announced a special edition Night Package for the power-packed 2017 Ram 1500. The Night package is based on the Sport Model, widely acclaimed as one of the best looking trucks in the world, with blacked-out features added to make a bold visual impact.
The Ram Truck brand was confirmed as a stand-alone division in 2009 and since then has established a strong brand identity. Recognizing the need for custom trucks, the company has developed a reputation for performance, capability and innovative designs. The blacked-out look first came on the market with the 2013 Ram 1500 Black Express package and was an instant success with truck enthusiasts.
The 2017 Ram 1500 Night Package inherits a number of features from the Sport including body color rear bumper with dual chrome exhaust tips, bi-functional projector headlamps and matching black tail lamps. The standard interior features include 10-way power adjustment seats, power adjustable pedals and automatic temperature control.
Additionally, the Special Edition Night package comes with a distinctive black grille, Black Ram’s head grille badge, door badges, tailgate badge, 20 x 9 inch gloss black aluminum wheels and P275/60R20 black sidewall all-season tires.
The Regular Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab Sports models will all be available with the Night package. Customers can choose between a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 (305 hp/269 lb.ft torque) or the more powerful 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engines (395 hp/410 lb.ft toque).
The options and upgrades comprise of RamBox cargo management system, sport performance hood and black running boards. Customers can also opt for Mopar performance parts including a cat-back exhaust and cold-air intake.
