Car buyers are always passionate about customizing their car the way they want it and Nick Truman decided to turn his $150 Ford Granada into a working replica of $1.65 million Pagani Zonda supercar. Although, that didn’t happen overnight because Truman had to work on various different factors to ensure that the car turns into a supercar look-alike. According to Nick Truman it took him around five years and lot of effort and he even lost his one finger during the process, but he said that he is glad that he has been able to do it.
Truman now drives his new Zonda replica in his neighborhood and from the exhaust noise it is clear that there is no similarity between Pagani Zonda and Ford Granada when it comes to under the hood specification. On close inspection you also find that the car is not very much like Zonda, but it certainly makes you feel that way when you look from a certain distance. However, to achieve what we see, Nick Truman invested around $23,000 in material including a twin-turbo Audi V8 engine that was bought for $365. While the real Pagani Zonda has the engine to pump 739 horsepower, Truman’s replica can only boast of 500 horsepower and it is still far away from the competition.
